The largest and oldest fishing tournament in the country is back!

Save the dates of June 7-16, 2024 so you don’t miss out on the annual Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament in Morehead City.

This eight-day tournament features various events throughout the week, including tons of fish games, weigh-ins, the Big Rock Captain’s Party, a Pig Pickin’, a Pork Chop Dinner, the Fashion For a Cause – Ladies Fashion Show, an Awards Brunch and so much more. 

In 2023, The 65th Annual tournament hosted a RECORD FLEET of 271 boats producing a purse totaling $5,835,705!

Be on the lookout for registration details and start planning your lodging now! Most of the tournament is held at Big Rock Landing, just steps away from the Bask Hotel. 

There are also plenty of surrounding restaurants and shops, so whether you’re an angler ready to cast your line in the competition or a cheerleader on the sidelines, it’s a week in the Crystal Coast that you do not want to miss!
